Disabling link hover previews in the comments management section?

I’m trying to go through 2000 pending spam comments. There’s the rare good one in there, and I’m trying not to lose them. But the spam comments are FULL of links, and WordPress wants to show me a preview every time I hover over one. They’re impossible to avoid.

I generally hate anything that pops over what I’m looking at. Is there any way to disable this? I’m happy to hack at my copy of WP to do it.

I found a similar request on the wordpress dot com site, and that poster was shut down without any help.
