    hello!

ok, so i have another website where i was able to disable the search icon via just removing the widget. however the website, which i’ve linked to, i’ve done the same thing; removing the search widget and for some reason it’s not working. even after purging the cache.

i’ve tried searching as much on this forum as possible before creating a new post so as not to have a duplicate. i’m just not sure what’s going on and hoping that there’s a css code i can use to remove it since removing the widget did nothing, which is quite odd.

please and thank you for your help!

hello not sure what triggered this post to be withheld for moderation, but i have 2 websites and i had to make an edit because i accidentally linked the wrong website that needed help.

sorry about that. i must’ve made the edits too fast and so made the automated system think it was a robot. my apologies.

    Hi @peachykeen2012,

Hope you are having a great day!

The Kale theme has an option to disable the search icon on the menu. you just need to go to WP Admin > Appearance > Customize > Menus > Kale Menu Settings and you’ll find an on/off option to enable or disable the search icon.

Please, let me know if you need any further assistance.
    Kind regards,
    Diego
