    Hello.

    Is it possible to disable seo scoring for specific pages in dashboard. For example I don’t need to seo optimize sites like privacy policy, cookies, etc.

    Maybe if you don’t add a focus keyword it’s grayed out instead of red?

    Kind Regards,
    Dusko

    Hello @cagedmind

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    Sorry to disappoint but that is not possible with the plugin at this time.

    With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, we’ll be sure to let you know.

    If there’s anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We are here to assist.

    Hello! I would also like to add this same feature request. Just Googling whether it was possible and came across this post.

    This is certainly how Yoast SEO plugin works – if you haven’t entered a focus keyword for a particular page then no score is offered.

    As Dusko mentions above, there are always pages you don’t need to rank, and it is somewhat annoying to see all the red …

    Great plugin though!

    Regards
    Melanie

    Hi,

    +1 upvote for this feature request.

    Some pages are optimized by not setting a keyword, and if the client sees “SEO SCORE 5/100”, that is kind of humiliating.
    The client doesn’t understand how this all works, and thinks we do a lousy job !

    Thanks

    +1 I agree! Yoast has this simply solved.

    @rankmath is there any news on this feature request? Although I love your plugin, to be honest, it’s the main thing that would send me back to Yoast.

    I HATE seeing the Red SEO Scores on pages where I have no need to enter a focus keyword. And as @janice4summer mentioned above, a client seeing this is even worse.

    PLEASE make this one a priority.

    Regards

    Hello all,

    You can add the following code in your theme’s functions.php to disable the score for now:

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

    P.S. We will see how we can implement this in the plugin in the future.

    Hello Rank Math!

    I have added that code via the Code Snippets plugin – unfortunately it didn’t work for me on this site https://threesixty.bantergroup.com.au

    See screenshot here – https://pasteboard.co/JfHzkTF.png

    Any ideas why it hasn’t had the desired affect?

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    I jave to add my +1 here.

    This feature is super important with my clients.

    They often ask me why all those pages are in red or bad score, but i don’t want to do SEO for privacy policy, checkout, cart and so on.

    Please guys, it will be a huge relief.

    There is a link where i can upvote this feature request?

    Cheers!

    Until they release an update, install the ‘Add Admin CSS’ plugin and apply the following CSS:

    .rank-math-seo-score.bad-fk {
    display: none;}

    This plugin allows you to apply CSS styling to wordpress adming area, and you can then simply hide it – https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/add-admin-css/

    Hope you are doing well.

    We have released a new update, 1.0.46, that should fix the issue.

    Please update to it or you can enable the auto-update by following this tutorial:

    We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.

    @rankmath thank you!

    That certainly helps, but it’s only hidden the Score in some locations. I can still see the low score from the individual WP page, and from within the Elementor SEO tab.

    Please see screenshot https://pasteboard.co/JkTePbO.png

    Any way to hide the score from ALL locations if no Focus Keyword has been set?

    Regards

    Hello @bantergroupaus

    Thank you for your message.

    Sorry to disappoint but in the edit screen area, the plugin dynamically calculates the score and there’s no way to hide that at this time.

    We will see how it could be improved down the line.

    If there’s anything else we can assist you with, please let us know. We are here to help.
