• I’m running CF7 4.6.1 and am constantly getting spam errors from messages that I’m trying to send. I’ve installed Postman SMTP to check logs but the messages aren’t being logged since CF7 isn’t sending them.

Akismet is not installed. There are no caching plugins installed.

Recaptcha was enabled and I’ve reset the keys twice without improvement, I’ve since disabled it and still no improvement.

I was using a custom submit button but I’ve replaced that with the plain version in the UI, no improvement.

I’ve tried adding define( ‘WPCF7_VERIFY_NONCE’, false ); to the config but this didn’t seem to make a difference.

Is there a way to disable spam checking by CF7? I’m perfectly happy to modify any functions but hoping there is a way to disable this in a way that will be friendly to plugin updates.

At very least is there a logging capability to see why this error would be triggered?
