    Hi,
I am having some WordPress users and some users who are coming through Office 365. How can I disable the 2FA Authenticate code for O365, but for other users it should ask?
What happens now, it is asking OTP for O365 on loggin through Office635, and then again asking it on the website after O365 redirects to the site.
Please direct me how to resolve this.

    Hello @chrisanubhav

Thank you for using our plugin.

If I understand you correctly, you would like for the plugin not to prompt the users coming from 0365 for a 2FA code, is that right?

If so, are these always the same users? If then you can simply exclude these users from the plugin configuration and remove their 2FA configuration from their profile page. By doing so, they won’t have 2FA configured, so they won’t be prompted for the code.

Does the above help? If not can you please explain in more detail your setup so we can better assist you?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi @robert681,

    Thanks for replying.

We will not always have the same users. There will be new/different users also.

    Our actual problem is-
We have a normal WP User with 2FA activated, this user also has O365. On logging through O365, it should not ask for 2FA. But if the user logged in as a Normal WP user for the same user, it should ask for 2FA.

Thank you for the explanation @chrisanubhav

That is a very specific case and I am afraid that at the moment the plugin cannot do what you need. I’ll take a note of this and add it to our feature requests list, maybe it is something we can work on in the future.

May I ask what are you using to authenticate users on WordPress once they are logged in to O365?
