Disabling the View button but keeping the pdf download

I would like users to be able to both view an entry from gravity forms and also download the pdf I set this up BUT…the view option takes them into the front end of the form.

As the form is a register and apply form and it is paginated it requests user names and passwords that this viewer wouldn’t know

So view is not working.

ie they cannot go past the first page as they don’t know the password.

Ideally we would rather them go into a back end ‘entry view’ without ability to edit the entry. But this isn’t crucial.

If I switch off the “view” capability I lose the ability to view or download the pdf. Can you help?

The most important thing is to be avle to view and download the pdf. But it doesn’t work when the view is turned off.

Please help.
