• I am having a problem with WordPress severely compressing my WebP files. I am optimizing my WebP files by converting them offline, but WordPress insists on compressing them even further turning them into a jumbled mess. Does anyone know of any code to disable WebP compression completely and use the full-sized files I upload instead of being forced to use the scaled images?

I found a code for JPEG files on wpbeginner, but that does not serve my needs for WebP.

    https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-or-decrease-wordpress-jpeg-image-compression/

    Thank you in advance.
