I am having issues with my woocommerce and the woocommerce support told me to disable wordfence. So I did and it won’t load the frontend website. It gives a 500 error.

I can access the backend though.

    HELP?

  • Hi @csocialmedia,

Could you try and manually remove the firewall setup as outlined in this article on our documentation pages?

Yes, I just did and it still is giving me a 500 error…

    Hi @csocialmedia,

In order to gather more information on what’s happening, could you please enable WP_DEBUG and check any generated log file?

    (@csocialmedia)

I have that enabled, what am I looking for?

    @csocialmedia,

Can you see a debug.log file being generated/populated when you try and access your site?

Also, do you confirm you removed the Wordfence WAF section from all files listed here (when applicable)

I actually don’t see anything in the debug.log that makes sense…

    https://www.diynaturalbedding.com/wp-content/debug.log

I think I did everything. I followed the steps to “Remove Extended Protection”

    Hi @csocialmedia,

The debug.log shows 2 types of significant errors:

    1. PHP Fatal error related to the memory usage which can be fixed by increasing the PHP memory_limit.
    2. WordPress database error impacting several Wordfence tables. Could you confirm if this is a multisite installation?

Please make sure to disable WP_DEBUG and to delete the debug.log file (or make sure it is no longer publicly accessible).

Unless you would like to keep your Wordfence configuration parameters
(to avoid having to configure from scratch if you decide to reactivate Wordfence) could you please try and install the Wordfence Assistant plugin in order to remove all Wordfence data in your database.
