• Is there any way to completely disable and remove all of the WYSIWYG editors in WP 2.0? I have authors who are not aware of how to properly use these buttons to create semanticly-sound posts. Writing would be simpler for them (and me) if these buttons were not available.

I am aware of the visual-rich option in users’ profiles, but that still leaves some WYSIWYG buttons when turned off.

  • You would need the option to remove in their Users page, and then you would have to delete the ‘quicktags.js’ files so that there were no tags for anyone.

Why not just mention that buttons should be used ? Or give them examples on use ?
