Hi all, looking for some help cause myself and my web designer are stumped. We sell subscription services for products. The users sign up for subscription and will receive a new different product monthly.

When they place a subscription order on the website, it of course shows up correctly under ‘Subscriptions’ and ‘Orders’. When i want to fulfill the order i see the item line of the ‘Subscription service code”, but i need to add a product i am sending them for that month, lets say its a pair of socks. I don’t want them to see this product though, so i set it to ‘private’ in the products page. Create the label and ship away.

30 Days later their subscription is up for a new pair of socks, a new order appears and so i finish the order and add another product “different socks” to the order, create label and ship away.

30 Days later their subscription is up for a new pair of different socks, so i finish the order and add another product of “different socks”, however lets say i accidentally added a product of socks that i already sent them the first month or longer prior to that and just didnt realize it. Looking for a notification or something to stop me, letting me know that user has already received that exact product in the past. Therefore i need to remove it and add a product “socks” they have not received yet.

Thoughts? Ive googled and googled but nothing fits what i am referring too. Willing to spend the money to find a plugin or if Woocommerce can do that itself? Ive tried and tried, exhausted hours. Hoping some experts here can point me in the right direction. Thx all.

  • Hi there @bowchris ??

Thank you for contacting Woo support!

It sounds like a CRM might be the right tool here. My recommendation is to check out Jetpack CRM (linked here). Its value is in the included features, like custom fields (which I understand would be useful for your use case), while things can always be extended and automated.

Please note that we can’t provide support for code customization as per our support policy. Still, if you need customization, we do our best to offer advice and direct you to appropriate resources. Based on the feedback we get from our customers, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our Customization page.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.
