Disallow guests using existing usernames

    Hi there,

    I’m using your plugin and it works just fine!

    I do allow guests to see and participate in the chat. However, I’ve just found that it’s possible for guests to use already existing usernames of registered members, which, of course, shouldn’t be allowed.

    Is there a way to stop guests from using existing usernames of registered members?

    Hi Dennis, that is a planned feature that will be implemented in a future version of the plugin.

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    I hope it will be implemented soon as I really need this feature (since otherwise I can’t allow guests to participate in the chat, as they could post fake messages).

    Maybe better to force guests to to use ”guest123” as their usernames so we allways know that its a guest who posted.
