disappearing forms

  • Hi!
    Today I logged into my wordpress and the form on my front page was gone. I looked and it doesn’t show me as having any forms. It’s been erased. I use a child theme. I dont have any other idea of why this happened, if i can get it back or how to stop it from happening again. Any ideas of whats going on?

    I’ve since created a new form but I’d still like to get an idea of what happened and
    if I can avoid it in the future.
