    Hello,

I installed Statify on a client’s blog on Sept 8. When I installed it I increased the period of data saving to 30 from the default 14.

Now on October 26, I see that there are no stats for Sept 8-26. I did not expect this behaviour especially as the dashboard shows daily and monthly stats seemingly for the entire year. So looking again, setting the period of data saving must absolutely mean the length of time that data is available for. This doesn’t make sense as the chart again is for the entire year, rather than a short 14 or 30 day period.

How do I set this so as to keep stats indefinitely? My client will want to be able to see the progress from the first day of the blog until the present – even 4 years from now. Is this possible? Or beyond the capabilities of this plug-in?

Please note, I do also have the Extended Evaluation plug-in, which is why I thought that the stats would be preserved.

    Hi @alentogroup,

see my answer on the topic you created for Statify – Extended Evaluation.

To avoid the automatic database cleanup, you must set the number of days to keep to a value long enough for the statistics on the dashboard and by Statify – Extended Evaluation. Both are using only the data kept in the database.

The possibility to configure the period for data saving and the dashboard separately shouldn’t be used to set data saving period < dashboard period. The separate configuration is intended for large data saving period (e. g. 5 years) in combination with a shorter display on the dashboard.

    Kind regards
    Patrick
