• I spent a few minutes configuring all the option, but the mobile site came out looking really bad – shortcodes everywhere, no slider, very bland appearance. And when you click on a menu link to a page (that should exist) you get “The requested URL was not found on this server.”.

    I understand the Pro version *may* solve these problems, but the early signs aren’t good so I will be uninstalling rather than upgrading.

    (In case it helps the plugin author, these problems were with the Progress theme from Temash Design.)

  • Sorry to hear you were having problems. While there are differences between the Pro and the Free versions, there’s nothing purposefully broken in the Free version as a way to entice. Some themes add shortcodes that are theme specific, and unfortunately there’s no way for WPtouch to understand how to render them. As you found it, it’s likely that another solution might work better for you. But if you are still having issues and would like some guidance, please let us know.
