    We paid the $100 for the extras.

    This plugin started off great! Thanks to Dave for helping me get the ios side of the app uploaded/approved. It is somewhat a pain in the ass to get that ios upload part done. Dave was helpful in the beginning but did take a few days for his reply which I can accept since it is a free product.

    The main issues I have are with the product itself. The bugs and errors that are not traceable or editable in the wordpress or plugin files. One issues I have is no matter what theme I use, the main menu will slide out fine, but the X to close the menu doesn’t work. The menu will stay locked open unless you select a menu item. This is horrible for a user experience.

    The second biggest issue, if you are using a custom (mobile) homepage and click into all inside pages, there is a ‘Home Icon’ that has a default redirect to the blog page, which can not be changed. This icon will be clicked since it is a home button at the top. This element can not be traced since you cant inspect mobile apps like it is a web page. I have sent Dave several messages about this and he says it will be fixed in the next update, but in his January 10 update, he mentions in the details that this has been fixed.

    These 2 issues have caused me to lose hope in the product. The menu and Home Icon issues seems to be a simple, fixable issues that I can’t fix due to not having access to the theme files. I asked what the classes/element were so I can try to do workarounds but no response. I can only imagine the amount of issues Dave ios dealing with. My advice is not to use this plugin unless you are willing to DIY. Im very savvy and code for a living but this project that required a simple plugin became a nightmare pretty quickly.

    Dave should really scale back the app and focus on true functionality from the core. All the extras are never going to be awesome since the core isn’t stable.

    I even offered to pay Dave for his time to help our issues but he refused and is getting buried under the huge load of free support.

    I hope you figure a way to stablize this product so it can be awesome

    Thanks for your recent message.

    I’m really sorry you are disappointed. After several years of hard work on this plugin, nothing makes me more unhappy than a disappointed user.

    I’m sure I sent you an email saying that I have solved the issue and I will be sending an update on Friday. I thought I fixed it on the 10th of January, but that solution didn’t work.

    Yes, I did refuse your payment as I feel that it is my job to fix the issues and not make money from them.

    Yes, I get a lot of emails around 150 per day about WordApp and I try to reply to all of them within 24 hours.
    If I don’t reply within 24 hours I get bad reviews. So, finding a balance between updates and emails are hard.

    So, I reply to emails within 24 hours and I update the plugin every month.

    Once again I’m very sorry your app didn’t work these 2 issues will be fixed in the next update.
