  • Like many other developers who works with WordPress, I am concerned about this making its way into the core. Please listen to the community and keep this as a plugin.

    Right now merge proposal hasn’t happened, this means that Gutenberg isn’t ready to be proposed. Once it is that process will happen and then 5.0. Concerns are important as they challenge and make a better product. I can assure you that the entire team is listening to all the positive and negative feedback about Gutenberg.
