Disappointment – Too complicated

    After a week of trying to understand the plugin I still think this could be so much easier, by tutorial-video for example. To me the plugin is very annoying, complicated and frustrating. The plugin works quite slow, the possibility to customize the plugin are disappointing, no other languages then English are available. Also is seems not possible to show the live (Ajax) results in a box underneath the search field. Another problem was that you can’t continue typing when you’re showing live results; the cursor disappears after every load (so basically after every character you type).

    The documentation looks smooth, but makes it not a lot easier to understand all the settings of the plugin. I thought maybe the Pro-version would be better, but the benefits of the Pro-version are a mistery. My contact with the support was not satisfying. And last of all, the plugin also looks very poor on the backend.

    Summarizing: a big disappointment.

    What a dissapointing review! Sorry to hear you’ve had so many issues getting setup.

    We do have a support forum with support staff to help out should yet you get stuck (at this stage it’s unclear if you did that)

    You’re right on a few points – properly integrating the translations api has already been added to our next major release, and you’ve highlighted a bug (cursor) that we’re currently working on.

    There are a lot of improvements around the corner (including a completely rebuilt admin UI), we hope you’ll give us another chance in the future.
