    @bublitzcreative There is not a default feature that would allow you to disable the hyperlink of a particular breadcrumb. However, you can use the wpseo_breadcrumb_links developer filter to edit the breadcrumbs pathway by including your custom code by placing it in your child theme’s functions.php file.

    You can find more information on this topic in the article here, as well as some example code for modifying the breadcrumb pathway using this filter here.

    That is awesome! I used the yoast_seo_breadcrumb_remove_link.php function and it worked beautifully! Thank you. Now that shouldn’t impact anything else OTHER than removing my selected words from the breadcrumbs, right? It doesn’t affect SEO, or anything?

    We’re glad to hear that the filter worked as expected!

    Aside from the actual UX change on the breadcrumb on that page itself, nothing else should be affected. The breadcrumb schema output should still be retained in the page source.
