    Hey!

I connected my site to Elementor, and now when I’m disconnected from the Internet (the site is on XAMPP) I have an error, and I can’t edit.

How do I disconnect from Elementor’s website without connecting to the internet?

    Hi @mosheaflalo,

Elementor verifies the license and retrieves resources online. To disconnect your website from your Elementor account, you’ll need an active internet connection.

Alternatively, you can simply deactivate the Elementor plugin on your website.

    I hope this helps.

But it doesn’t help me delete Elementor.
I want to use the normal simple plugin without internet.
I don’t use the pro version.
I want to be able to edit without creating a connection.
Where does the connection appear in the database and I will delete it…

    @mosheaflalo,

    Hi,

if I understand you correctly, you only want to disconnect your website from your Elementor account.
Please log in to your account via: https://my.elementor.com/ with the email and password you created or received.

Once logged in, click left on websites and then click on the 3 bullets and choose “view related subscriptions”

Then click on the right side on the icon and chose “deactivate website”.

This way the website will no longer be connected and hopefully, you can edit without errors.

Keep in mind that you will need to download updates manually and add them manually too.
To get automated updates, you also need an internet connection.

Let me know if this made sense!

, it makes a lot of sense what you write…
    And I will do it!
So maybe, just a small note for @elementor to give the option to disconnect through your dashboard and the control panel of the site and Elementor and not only on their site!
Thus, those who have the site on their computer, and do not have a constant Internet connection, will be able to use it again without fear and without problems.

    Hi @mosheaflalo

Great, I hope it works to disconnect, it always works for me.

There is the option to disconnect in your WordPress dashboard, but to be able to disconnect from there, you need that internet connection, which is understandable, because it needs to be able to connect (over the internet) with the servers of Elementor for that.

See my screenshot that shows the option to disconnect from dashboard > Elementor > License:

Best procedure would have been to disconnect, before switching to XAMPP, so you would not have to worry about that later.

Let me know if this worked out for you, and good luck!

    Oh!
    Thanks friend, problem solved successfully!
Although the disconnect button didn’t work… because it needs to connect to Elementor to disconnect…
But there was another button… I think it was refresh data, and when I clicked on it the site was disconnected!
    Thanks for everything!

    Hi @mosheaflalo

That is great new, glad you were able to disconnect.
    Have a great day!
