Discount By Event Date

I’d like to know if the plugin can apply a discount based on when an event (product) is used. Ie we want to offer a discount on the price of a ticket for an event that is in the future. Usually, the discount is determined based on the order date – we want to determine the discount based on the ticket event date. Can this plugin do that as long as the date range is defined in the product? Another example are airline tickets – the price is based on dates taken – not the order date. That’s what we need to replicate. Thanks in advance.
