Discount code “set price to 0.00”

    Perhaps this is a feature request? I tried adding a code with the price set to 0.00 – however, on saving the value is overwritten and the field goes blank. (I tried 0.01 but this evokes the card payment process and the min band is $1.)
    Why would we want to set the price to Zero? it provides a method for us to accept payment by cash or cheque. We can then use the code to bypass the card payment process and email out the tickets. I’d prefer not to have to give our volunteers access to the back end admin.

    Malcom Thanks, however, for the same performance. I have reservations set for wheelchairs (free), plus a range of prices for other seats. The issue is that when a person books one wheelchair and one paying seat the “pay/reserve button” does not appear, however it does when you book one of either sort of ticket. (FYI: I have added some text under the block to inform them that they have to make two separate bookings.) hence my feature request. If you can come up up with a solution so that folks can mix a free seat (reservation in my case) with a paid seat it would streamline the booking process for customers. Thank in advance, Terry.

    Malcom, I have found a solution: If i set the range of seats to “normal” and the wheelchair seats at “reserve” after selecting their seats, only the button to “reserve” is displayed. We can close this ticket down.
