Discount codes – PB & PMS compatibility

    Hi,
    We have paid member subscription pro and profile builder pro. We use the profile builder registration form shortcode, which includes a field to the paid member subscriptions for new users signing up to pay for a subscription. This works fine.

    We however, want to allow discount codes for people signing up for these subscriptions, so we installed the discount codes addon on the PMS side, and created a test discount code. We are unable to use the discount codes because we use the profile builder shortcode as suggested by documentation when using both plugins together. The discount codes field does not show up as an option in the profile builder fields. I would think this should be a supported field after installing the addon.

    Maybe I am missing something, but if we have the pro version of both plugins, we should be able to display a discount field from the addon in the profile builder registration form since I can display the subscription field there. If it can pull the subscription, why can it not pull the discount field? It does not make sense that this would only be available for the PMS shortcode.

    Is there any other way to allow a discount code field in the Profile builder Registration Form?

    I figured out that I had the test discount set to only be available to a different subscription(which was on a different form). I figured the discount field would still exist even if there was no discount code active.

    If anyone else if having this issue of the discount field not showing, just check to make sure you have the discount set to ‘active’ in the settings for it and that you have the correct subscription selected or the field will not show at all for your forms ??
