discount not included in get_discount_total()

    the payment service im using is not including the gift cards amount, and i was told by their developers that the reason is that the discount is not included in the $order->get_total_discount() function.

    how can i fix it?

    The gift card balance is applied to the Order Total which is after any tax, shipping, fees, etc. It works like a true gift card in that sense.

    The get_total_discount() function returns Coupon totals which apply to the Order Subtotal before any tax, shipping, etc.

    If the payment gateway plugin you are using is on www.ads-software.com let us know and we can see if there is anything we can do from within the gift card plugin to make the integration work.

    Having same problem with our both payment gateways:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woo-yapay/
    and
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-mercadopago/

    On Woocommerce’s order info is all right, but, the payments are made full amount…
