The discount price doesn’t show on the product page or in the cart. When I check the math of the subtotal on the cart page, it appears to be correct — but this will confuse customers who may think the total is wrong because the incorrect unit pricing is displayed. The pop-out cart preview also doesn’t show any correct discounts.

This was showing in the cart before with a crossed out regular price, I believe. Did something change?

Our customers need to be able to see the correct unit price as well as the correct subtotal in the cart at a minimum.

    Any solutions?

  • I’m seeing the same thing after updating to Woo 3.2.2 today.

In Storefront theme the price of current cart is shown in the header while browsing product. If you add something, you can see it changes to correct value, but then it quickly changes to $0.00.

When you view the cart, everything shows correctly otherwise. Orders are still coming in and charging correctly.

    Hi @maradad and @emilygonsalves,

Please make sure there’s no other plugin causing the conflict here, You can try disabling the other plugins and leave only woocommerce and dynamic pricing plugin and test it.

If you still face issues please do send some screenshots of the rules and the product and cart page.

I can test this later tonight. I can say I have two sites and the second I upgraded Woo to 3.2.2 on the other one, the same thing started happening.

There appears to be a conflict with a role pricing plugin I’m using (this one: https://www.eggemplo.com/plugins/woocommerce-role-pricing).

We need to have quantity discounts and a role pricing percentage discount applied for most customers. Is there a different way I can get role pricing to work with the quantity discounts?

    Hi @emilygonsalves,

You can try using our Prices by user role Download here, this one should be compatible.

Let me know if you face any issues,

    @maradad,

Do let me know once you’re able to test when other plugins are disabled.

    Hi @emilygonsalves,

For role based pricing you can use WooCommerce Catalog Mode, Wholesale & Role Based Pricing

Also you can set the roles to which the rule applies in Dynamic pricing rules as well.

Thank you for the suggestion. I’m not sure this new option is working, I don’t see the role based pricing added. Is there documentation I can look through to make sure I have that configured correctly?

For the quantity discounts, I had to do “fixed price” because they weren’t showing up when I tried flat discount. I’m not sure if that makes a difference. I was originally trying to use flat discount but couldn’t seem to get that to work.

If the role discount shows as a line item in the cart only, I am fine with that. I’m not sure it would be easy to display the role based price at product level and then apply quantity discounts in the cart — but maybe that works better for a different type of quantity discount.
