  • I have the same problem!

Some (not all – but almost half) of my orders have their discounts removed at checkout. The resulting e-mail still shows the discount percentage, but NOT the discounted price.

Result is that I get full payments and I have to refund they discount manually to my clients. Can this be fixed pls?

At the moment I’m asking customers to tell me the two figures they see, one before clicking cart/checkout and the other higher figure after clicking.

I then subtract the smaller figure from the larger figure and provide the customer with a coupon for that amount. Fortunately I only deal with a small number of private customers but it’s still a real pain.

Before the WordPress/Woocommerce updates the plugin worked perfectly.

I will give a generous donation once fixed ??

I have a similar issue. I can create a dummy order, volume discount applies at 20+ items – and it works fine. My client does the same, fine.

A real client has put through an order, and it has gone through via PayPal and the invoice generated shows no discount despite being 20+ items.

To clarify, the New Customer Order email that is generated shows the full amount, but incorrectly, beside it shows the message “(Incl. 15% discount)”.

    Hi,
I have the same problem. Some orders go fine, others, at checkout the original price is back and the discount message is still there.
I believe the problem started at the latest update from Woocommerce.
It would be nice if the author could take a look at it.
    Thanks in advance!

    I’m getting the same issue…

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply. I’ve been investigating the problem but I can’t reproduce the error. The whole process from setting a discount, processing the order, payment on PayPal and invoice e-mail runs smoothly. Maybe some other plugin clashes with Bulk Discount. I recommend to try disabling other WooCommerce plugins (if you have a testing site) and see what happens.

I tested on: WordPress 4.1.1, WooCommerce 2.3.7, Theme Twenty Fourteen, and no other WooCommerce plugin installed.

Hi Rene thanks so much for your reply!
Found the culprit, I’m so sorry for thinking it was your plugin that was broken.

Turns out it was a minimum purchase plugin breaking yours, it’s something I can do without so will leave it disabled for the time being.

    Hi Rene,

I have the same problem and I know it the reason is the conflict between Woocommerce Bulk Discount and WPML Translation Management. I need both, as my site is in 2 languages, I have never had this error but I’m afraid it started after the latest update of the WPML Translation Management.

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks for your help and kind regards,

    Guillermo

    Hi Rene,

    Many thanks for your reply.

The missing of the discount-calculation seems to be completely random. I just received an order with a wrong calculation. Few hours ago the discount for exact same order was calculated fine.

I don’t have the minimum purchase plugin installed.

Other woocommerce-plugins I have installed are:

    Woocommerce Customizer
    Woocommerce Custom Product Tabs Lite
    Woocommerce MyParcel
Woocommerce Print Invoice & Delivery Note
    Woocommerce Q-invoice connect
    Woocommerce Sisow iDeal
    Woocommerce Table Rate Shipping Plus
Woocommerce Weight & Country Based Shipping
    Yoast Woocommerce SEOYITH Woocommerce Compare

    Please, any advice is welcome!

I can confirm that this issue does not occur anymore if you disable the WPML plugins. I do really need to have my site multilingual so I hope this issue can be fixed asap.

    Hi Indira14,

I don’t have the WPML plugin installed, so that can’t be it.

I’m sorry, this is a free plugin and I can’t examine the functionality with all other possible plugins. As I wrote recently, the plugin runs fine on a clean WP installation. You can always hire somebody to fix the concrete problem or buy a premium WooCommerce extension for bulk discounts.

Hoping someone else can verify. I can replicate the discount not being applied when the customer selects the “Create account” button when placing the order. When they checkout as guest the discount is applied correctly after checkout.

I tested this by creating a 100% discount coupon code that also gives free shipping and applied that to the order. When checking out and creating account, bulk discount is not applied, but checking out as guest bulk discount is applied.

Can anyone else verify this? Rene any thoughts?

    WP 4.2.1
    WOOC: 2.3.8

I wanted to shed some light on this.
I have the same issue on my site and have a way to reproduce it.

The only way I can reproduce this 100% of the time is to disable javascript. And on the /checkout page there will be a “Update totals” (inside a <noscript> tag)

Once you click on this it will reload the page and the discounts will not be applied. (Yet it will say X% discount has been applied)

    ——
I’m not sure how to reliably reproduce it otherwise, but I have seen orders here and there show up with this issue. (And I know they don’t have javascript disabled)

I can’t seem to recreate the update totals logic with javascript enabled, so I’m not sure why or when its occurring.

    Hope that helps,
