    I have the latest version of WordPress, Astra theme, and your Discount Rules plugin, but when I apply the 1st purchase discount it is not functioning as expected.

    We have had to several users fail to get their discount due to the fact their first attempted purchase had a cancelled status in both Stripe and WordPress (for various reasons like abandon, wrong credit card details) and then when they came back to complete the purchase, and re-enter all the details, the discount rules were not applied.

    I believe this is because your plugin check for 1st time purchases needs refined/refactored to ‘exclude’ orders where the status is ‘cancelled’.

    Our Discount Rules plugin will automatically apply discounts based on the billing email address. As there is a previous order with the same email ID, in cancelled status the discount may not be applied.
