Discount shows as coupon in admin

  • Hi,
    I don’t know if this is a bug or a deliberate change.
    The issue is:
    If I create an order via the backend and mark a discount against a line item, it shows in the order summary as a coupon(s).

    Is there a reason this has changed? It used to be discount and is causing confusion for my store owners, especially the ones that apply discounts and/or coupons.

    I have tested on a few shops and the same behaviour exists.

    No need to bump, forum threads don’t work like that.

    If I create an order via the backend and mark a discount against a line item, it shows in the order summary as a coupon(s).

    This is the expected result. I don’t recall a version of core when it was any different.
