Discount to be applied on subtotal

    Hi, I want to apply the discounts on subtotal rather than the after adding gst, can you please help me with this.

    It should apply to subtotal 10 – 0.3 =9.7 and this should be the taxable amount

    Hi @adi1122,

    Based on my understanding, you would like to calculate the discount based on the subtotal of the cart first and then apply the tax on the remaining amount.

    For example, if the subtotal is ￡20.00, a 10% discount would be ￡2.00, leaving ￡18.00. A 10% tax on ￡18.00 would be ￡1.80, resulting in a total of ￡19.80 (18 + 1.80). Please refer to this screenshot for clarity: https://prnt.sc/vfdHtX3sbeeK

    To achieve this, you need to enable the ‘Taxes’ option and disable the ‘Add taxes’ option within the ‘General Options’ section of the Payment Gateway Based Fees and Discounts -> Required payment gateway settings. Here is the screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/RcH7mj-bQJKH
