Discount when two specific books are purchased

I have a site that uses WP eCommerce for a publishing site and I would like to know if there is a way to offer a discount if you, for instance, buy two books from the same author. Should I create a new ‘product’ that includes those two books? I’m hoping there is a cleaner way to do that.
