    Hi,

I installed this plugin a few days ago to test how it works. I applied a 35% discount to all products at the cart level, but the discounted price does not appear on the shop page. Usually, the original price is crossed out, and the discounted price is displayed on the shop or product page.

Am I missing something? Please let me know how to fix this.

    Thanks!

    Hi @merithome

Thank you for choosing our plugin.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

First make sure that you are using a pricing rule by reading this article.

If you are using conditions in the rule and conditions are not applicable then the plugin doesn’t change product prices in the shop.

If you are using a cart discount rule, these rules don’t change product price and only apply the discount as a coupon in the cart.

If you are using cart related conditions then it is not recommended to use a simple pricing rule.

In case the above tips can’t help you, please provide us a full-page screenshot of the rule to let us check it out.

    I hope it helps.

    Best regards

Thank you for your response and guidance.

I have gone through the article and confirmed that I am not using any conditions in the rule. Previously, I was using a cart discount rule, but I have now switched to pricing rules.

I would be grateful if you could guide me on the correct settings for a simple setup. I need to apply a 35% discount on all products across the website and ensure that the original price is crossed out while displaying the discounted price on both the shop page and single product pages.

Could you please advise on the best way to achieve this? Your assistance would be highly appreciated.

    You are welcome.

Please read this article to create a percentage discount.

After creating a simple pricing rule, refer to the plugin settings – product pricing section – make sure that the “Change display price” is set to “Change price – simple and bulk prices” or “Change price – simple prices”.

The plugin applies the discount on the sale price of products.

If you would like to apply the discount on the regular price of the products you can follow the below steps.

    • Go to the plugin settings – general tab – product pricing section.
    • Set “Product Base Price” to the “Product price”.
    • Set “On-Sale Products Price” to the “Regular price”.
    • Save changes

In case the above tips can’t help you maybe there is a conflict on your site that causes the issue. To find the conflict please follow the below steps.

    • First please make sure that you applied one pricing rule to the product.
    • Deactivate all of the WooCommerce related plugins (especially pricing and discount plugins).
    • Activate only our plugin with WooCommerce.
    • Go to your created rule and click on the Save button to clear the cache.
    • Test it again and if this time it worked properly activate other WooCommerce related plugins one by one and test it again to find the plugin that causes this issue.

You can try the same rule on our demo website to make sure that it is working fine.

In case the above tips can’t help you and you have the pro version please contact us here for more investigation.

    I hope it helps.

    Hi,

Thank you so much for the information and guidance.

I’ve followed your instructions, and everything works fine while I’m logged into my WordPress dashboard. However, as soon as I log out, the discounted price (with the regular price crossed out) only appears on the cart page.

    Am I missing any settings?

    Thanks!

    Hello again,

I found the issue. Your plugin has conflict with WP Rocket plugin. As soon as I turned off the WP Rocket plugin, everything works as it should be?

Are you going to fix the error, as the WP Rocket is also important plugin to have?

    Thanks

    Hello @merithome

It can work with WP Rocket but you should configure the WP Rocket properly. Or clear the WP Rocket cache when applying a discount.

For nonce issues, set your Cache lifespan option in WP Rocket to a value below 12 hours; 10 hours would be a starting point, but you may have go down to 8 or even less.

In case the above tips can’t help you, please contact the WP Rocket support and let us know how we can help you. They can guide better here.

    I hope it helps.

    Best regards

Issue with Currency Exchange and Discount Functionality

    Hello

Thank you for your prompt response! I’ll try to address the issue today.

However, I’ve encountered another problem. When using the “Pricing” tab to apply discounts, the currency exchange rate isn’t functioning correctly. It only shows the prices with different currency icons but without adjusting the amounts. (The original issue, where the discounted price isn’t shown and the original price is crossed out, should be resolved.)

On the other hand, when I activate the options in the “Discounts” tab, the currency exchange rate works fine, but the first issue reappears: the discounted price doesn’t show on the shop and product pages.

To be honest, I really like your plugin and would love to use it, but I need to ensure it works properly with my website before purchasing the premium version.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best regards,
