There is a slight discrepancy between the world count of Post pay counter and one of WordPress (in the editor).I’m seeing this in all posts (and it has nothing to do with quotations).

Even if it is a slight difference it became a problem when it comes to pay freelances.

Anybody notice this? How to fix?

    Thanks

    Hi there,
different tools will count different numbers of words, unfortunately, and there’s little that can be done about it. It just depends on what method is use to count words. For example, I have a post on my site which WordPress counts as 607 words, Post Pay Counter as 608 words and LibreOffice as 621 words (and Microsoft Word would probably yield yet another number).

We strive to keep as close to the WordPress count as we can, but it often happens that the two counters are a couple words off. One partial solution we implemented in Post Pay Counter PRO is to display post stats in the post edit page so that users can immediately know what their payment stats are, and see what their word count is. I don’t know if this may help ??

    Have a nice day,
    Stefano
