Discrepancy with formatting of emails

    I’m sending email through an SMTP plugin, and installed your plugin to customize some notifications.

    I set up my notification and it gets sent correctly, but the formatting is wrong.

    When I send myself a test email of the template it works as expected. But when an actual notification is sent out the formatting (br, p, new lines) is removed and it shows as one big messy paragraph.

    Any idea why the test email is formatted properly but the actual one isn’t? I would have assumed that both would be sent the same way so should look the same as well.

    I was curious where in the process the formatting tags were being stripped out, so I went into the database and directly added my p and br tags there. Test email was still fine, actual email still had the same problem.

    Is there somewhere between being called from the database and the email being sent that the tags would be removed?

    Issue wasn’t related to the plugin. Problem has been resolved.
