disk enhanced bring error 410

I am sorry about the issue you are experiencing and I am happy to assist you with this.
Disk: Enhanced is a default caching method. At which point have you started to experience the issue? Didi the issue started to occur after you installed W3 Total Cache or some time after?
Are you using any custom rewrite rules in your .htaccess//nginx or possibly some redirection plugin?
Also, have you enabled wp_debug and check the log for any errors?

Thanks for your quick response.

I’m probably wrong, but Disk:enhanced is not the default caching method. At least, it wasn’t with my installation… it has always been disk:basic.
1/ I experience this for as long as I can remember.
2/ I experience the issue only when I activate disk:enhanced option in W3 TC.
3/ Some rules in my .htaccess (expire rules and some tricks added by “Add Expires Headers Plugin”, many added by W3TC Browser Cache, and the basics from wordpress), but no rewrite rules per se.
4/ I checked several times with wp-debug. But nothing appears. Just the “410 gone” html error message.

Thank you for the information and this is very unorthodox. Can you please make a backup of your .htaccess file and remove all rules except default WP rules. After that try to select Disk: Enhanced. If it works then it’s a conflict with some other rules/ plugins.
Also, try to temporarily disable Other plugins and see if any plugin is causing the conflict.

I did as you asked.

1/ I deactivated all plugins but W3TC with disk:enhanced. Still 410 gone.
2/ While the option disk:basic was activated, I took out from htaccess everything but wordpress part. I switched to disk:enhanced. Still no luck.

Thank you for the information. I would suggest to completely remove and re-install W3 Total cache.

1. Purge Cache
2. Deactivate and Delete Plugin
3. Check .htaccess File (make backup)
W3TC will create many directives in the .htaccess file to control the caching behavior. Each section will start and end with comments like “#BEGIN W3TC Page Cache core” and “#END W3TC Page Cache core”.
Ensure that no residual entries are leftover in your .htaccess file after deleting the plugin.
4. Delete wp-content files and folders
– cache folder
– w3tc-config folder
– object-cache.php (if exists)
– advanced-cache.php (if exists)
– dbcache.php (if exists)
– upgrade folder
– delete w3-total-cache folder in wp-content (if exists)
5. Delete Cached Files from CDN (if using CDN)
Besides deleting all the relevant files, if you use CDN then ensure to purge the cached content from your CDN. This is necessary when you enabled the minify option in W3TC settings. You should delete the minified and combined scripts and CSS files from your CDN server to avoid the site breaking on the browser.
6. Go to your wp dashboard and re-install W3 Total Cache

Thanks for not giving up ?? I carefuly followed your indications, unfortunately, no difference. As soon as I activated the cache page, the site was gone.
