Disk Full / Tables Corrupt

    i hit a snag today – my disk was full (43MB of spam cloggin up an unused email account!) and so wordpress seemed to fall over. my site was down <https://www.fatplanet.com.au/blog&gt; and wp-admin opened at a basic text version of the dashboard, but i don’t have permissions to access anything. i also received the error msg: “WordPress database error: [Can’t open file: ‘wp_comments.MYD’. (errno: 144)]”

    i went into MySQL and tried to repair the comments table. the table repair failed – it told me the wp_comments table was corrupt. i then decided to try and empty the comments table, which was successful – and repair came up with ‘ok’. i also cleared my disk of junk mail so there’s plenty of server space.

    however, that hasn’t fixed the problem – the site is still down and i can’t access any area of wp-admin. i’d be very grateful for any comments or advice on how to proceed!
