disk quto and seperate content folder

The uploaded images will automatically be uploaded into separate directories, identified by site ID, under wp-content/blogs.dir.

You can set a default upload space quota for each site under Network Admin / Settings / Site Upload space. Once you do that, you can adjust individual site quotas as required.

I have a server and a Nas or some other mapped drive how can i move blogs.dir there is tht possible

It’s possible but really you shouldn’t unless you’re very good already with servers AND WordPress.

so u suggest i should not move my blogs.dir folder, then how wld i map my storage to my wordpress any ideas what can i do

We’re telling you this is *built in*. You do not need to do anything.

Go to Network Admin -> Settings. Scroll down to Quota. Fill it in.

I suggest you NOT move blogs.dir unless you’re VERY good with WP and Servers in general.

Instead, leave it alone and use blogs.dir as intended, and set quotes, as Andrea said.

i am using the built in feature for disk space to each user, but i need to send the pics they uplaod to different folder other than blogs.dir

not really but i have already a setup running with isci target for my storage of pics on which m currently using win 2008 r2 server with isci
and want to use same for my ubuntu storage of pictures becoz the site will be uploaded with tons of pic already have more than 1tb of data on it
