Disk Space Usge

I use this plugin to capture form submissions for things like product registrations. My wp_cf7dbplugin_submits table is currently using 9.16 GB of space! I went to delete all entries before 10.01.19 and noticed as I was deleting my disk space usage went up 1000MB. I am not to knowledgable on PHPmyAdmin & am simply bulk deleting pages of rows within the CFDB Plugin on wordpress. I am hoping for a solution to clear out older entries and decrease the size of my database.
