  • Dismiss doesn’t dismiss for me either. Which leaves me with two unwanted & unasked for red numbers on my dashboard that don’t bother to tell me why they’re there in the first place and don’t allow me to get rid of them,

Getting used to Yoast ignoring what I click on but also getting fed up with it as it gets in the way more than it helps.

I used to recommend Yoast when asked but no longer do so.

I’m currently trying All-In-One SEO because I’m getting tired of these things with Yoast.

I just want to edit tags – don’t need anything else.

@trevord92: you see us working in here, don’t you? Trying to fix this stuff? Please show a bit of courtesy. I understand it’s frustrating, but this really doesn’t help.

Hang in there, Joost and Taco. We appreciate all your hard work getting this resolved!

Same observation as the original message in this topic, curiously though I see no js errors in the console. No php errors either.

I cannot dismiss the these suggestions either. I have about 40 sites. I click on the X the page dims and comes back with the messages and the red circle with a number. I would prefer this feature be removed.

Looks like 3.3.1 has changed the behaviour. Clicking the cross icon now clears the count of unread messages, I still have to click the link to find out whats new, which isn’t that obvious. If I see a cross I expect it to remove the item, not clear the count.

Still, at least the count is being updated in the admin bar as well, which is good ??
