    Hello,
    I am testing a popup. The popup is with text and action buttons. I don’t want to bother users and because of that, if the user clicks on a button to take an action or click on close button, I want to hide the popup for 30 days.

    I am testing for 1 hour. In Cookie expiration settings, for Dismiss I have set 1 hour. Then I did the following check:
    – visit the page;
    – see that a popup appear;
    – clicked on the Close button;
    – refreshed the page and I see the popup appears again.

    What I am doing wrong and what is the right settings to hide popup for 30 days after the user takes some action?

    Hi,

    The dismissed field is indeed to keep the box hidden as long as that cookie is set after someone clicks the close button of the box.

    You would set it to 720 hours for 30 days.

    Please share a link to your website where I can check the box and see if the cookie is set properly. Thanks.

    Hi, our website is https://www.kinbox.com/ but your popup you can not see it yet, because I am testing it in staging version of the website.

    Maybe testing mode is turned on in the Box settings? With testing mode on the box will load even if dismissed cookie is set already.

    Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!

    Yeah, maybe that was the reason. Now the box is live.
    Thank you!
