Display 2 phtos with captions next to each other?

    Hi everybody,
    Is it possible to display 2 photos with captions next to each other?
    When I put them next to each other, they still display vertically.
    What can I do?

    @johanna2patricia – These don’t look like NextGEN Gallery inserted images and I also suspect it might be something from within your theme’s styles although I cannot see why the <figure> element is using as much margin as it appears to be?!

    Cais you are right. My mistake.
    Those are photos I inserted with the add media feature.
    But how do I get a gallery of these 2 photos with a caption?
    I seem to remember trying that before and that didn’t work either.

    Hi Cais,
    I changed the gallery to thickbox and then the caption is displayed beneath the photo, so that is fine.
    But for some reason the photo is outside the frame at the right side. What can I do about that?

    I changed to the fancybox and will use this. When you click the image you get the description of the image, so that is at least something.
    Those captions aren’t working for me.
