    How do I display a list of categories for site visitors to choose from? Are there other filtering options?

    It looks like you were able to figure this out. The only suggestion I would make is to display the category filter (drop down) in the template. You want to use either the filter (which uses query strings) or the category permalinks, not both.

    No, I suggest turning off the category dropdown in the cMap template. Does that answer your question?

    No, i’m still a little bit confused ??
    I want a Category Filter on the right side like in the page from the thread starter…

    If you want the category dropdown filter then you should remove the the Category Widget and shortcode from the page. Since you have the Widget Pack, I would recommend using it over the dropdown, but the choice is yours of course ??

    Then you should use the Category widget and then as recommend, you should disable the category dropdown above the directory entries. Which is my recommended course of action.
