display admin image gallery conditional upon particular user

  • How would I go about seting up something that will hide the media library when a user:Author clicks on Add Image/Media etc. in the Write Post admin page and only make the user’s post’s particular gallery visible. The admin of course can see all the menu stuff.

    basically i want a conditional thing that says
    if user XYZ is logged in then only dsplay that particluar user’s media gallery
