Display “Blog posts” in a “page”

    You’re thinking about it the wrong way. ??

    Instead of thinking, “How can I assign the blog posts to a specific page?” you should be thinking, “How can I assign a specific page to the front?”

    To do that, first construct a page to act as your new front page, then create a blank page for your posts.

    Now, go to Settings/Reader and under “Front page displays” choose “A static page” and select the appropriate pages from the pull-down list.
