    Hi Dave,
As you recognized, SP displays feed content on a per feed basis in order to honor the integrity of the feed as provided by the publisher. The articles in each feed are displayed in the order provided by the publisher.

We have been asked about sorting all articles by date in the past and have stayed away from this because of possible copyright and brand dilution issues that might arise out of interleaving articles from various publishers. At this time there are no plans to interleave articles by separating the article from the feed as a whole.

That said, do you have any ideas that might enable a sorted article behavior that still honors the integrity of the feed as provided by the publisher?

    Best regards,
    SP Developer

    Hi

Thanks for the reply and your consideration of the original authors intent and the integrity of their work.

In one case I am syndicating posts from several other blogs I am responsible for onto one that is more general.

The timely ness of the posts are more important than their relation to previous posts.

Not all blogs have content that needs the context of its relation to previous posts to remain within the authors intent!

In my case posts from several small businesses are syndicated to a city page….sort of news style. It is the timeliness of the posts that are to the benefit of the original blog author, when they show up in syndication.

Obviously I am not using your product for this, but the plugin I am using is no longer being supported and I am looking for a new solution. Ideally one that also supports the importing of image content, featured images as well as the text.

Any pointers to other plugins would be appreciated.

    Dave
