• Help Please,
I purchased Nexgen Wall/Grid Gallery (WordPress NextGEN Gallery Template) from CodeCanyon and need help with an issue. This plugin/addition along with the NexGen Custom Fields plugin allows me to link the thumbnail images to various pages on my website. This works great! I can specify the links in the manage galley settings.
However when I modify the shortcode in an attempt to display the captions for the thumbnails I lose the links to the pages. To display the captions for the thumbnails I changed the short code as follows …

    Before: [nggallery id=6 template=dop-wall-grid-gallery ]
    After: [nggallery id=6 template=dop-wall-grid-gallery template=caption ]

Displaying the captions by changing the short code seems to disable any links to any pages and so any thumbnail that had a link to a page reverts back to linking to the larger image of that thumbnail.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Thanks
    Ashley Davies

  • I doubt NextGEN can handle two template= attributes in one shortcode – from what your saying above it seems to be actioning the last one specified.

You should probably direct your query to CodeCanyon to see if they have a dop-wall-grid-gallery template with captions.

Has anyone found a solution to this? I’ve searched for hours.

I added the custom field: Link

Added the URL to the image and with captions shown, the link no longer works.

Any help would be great appreciated!
