Display categories to home page

  • Hi Greg Winiarski,

    I use the Newspaper theme, and I want to display WP-adver categories outside of the layout homepage. But in the option of displaying the category list of themes I don’t see the category id or post id. And I have no way to do this. Please give me advice.

    Hi,
    i am not really sure what you are trying to do, but in order to display the post/categories ids in wp-admin / Classifieds panel you can install a plugin like Reveal IDs https://pl.www.ads-software.com/plugins/reveal-ids-for-wp-admin-25/

    Hi,

    I mean, how do I display the “Advert categories” at the homepage when I use the Newspaper theme. While setting the homepage layout, there is a section for configuring blocks and you will filter which category ids will appear in that block, in the id drop-down list I don’t see the category ids generated by Wp -advert, there is no way to display wp-advert’s posts and categories on the homepage. It seems the theme does not recognize the post ids, category ids generated from the Wp-advert plugin?

    I am not familiar with this theme at all so i cannot tell, but maybe if you are not seeing the IDs generated by Advert Categories then maybe the theme does not support custom taxonomies in this place?

    It would be best to check with the theme support.
