    Hi there,

I had communicated with you earlier with subject…Logic of Hide for User Role under display conditions for block editor, I was so happy that you had taken my suggestion to your development team.

BUT, now I can not find display condition for blocks any more, is there something wrong?

p.s. I had created a support ticket on your website, but no response since last week, so I created here again, hope to get your attention!

    Thanks

    Hey @mubiesam,

    Thanks for writing in!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

We had removed the Display Conditions feature for Core blocks & only kept it for Spectra Blocks in the v2.0.0 release.

But, We have not added them back for Spectra Blocks too & we will release an update soon for that.

    Your patience is really appreciated

    Hi @rajkiranb

    Thanks for your quick response.

just to clarify, do you mean you will release an update soon for the Display Conditions feature in the Spectra Blocks editor, same as before or similar?

    Hey @mubiesam,

We have released the Display & Responsive conditions feature for all the core blocks in v2.0.8.

It is the same feature as before.

    Hope that helps.

    Have a Great day!

    Hi @rajkiranb

Got it, my update is v2.0.9, Display & Responsive conditions feature looks nice.

BTW, will you consider my suggestion for the Logic of Hide for User Role?

For the purpose of content restriction, administrator should be able to access all of the content, then editor should be able to access less than administrator , then author should be able to access less than editor…so, when we set “hide the content from other roles except subscriber”, the content should NOT visible to visitor, but visible to subscriber above, include contributor, author, editor and administrator.

    Can this be altered?

    Hello @mubiesam,

Thank you so much for sharing this idea with us!

I’d like to inform you that we’ve made a note of this and added it to our to-do list.

However, we are currently working on some ideas ourselves and have a few more aligned. We will certainly see how to go about with yours and try considering it sometime soon. ??

    Thank you again!`

    Hi @judith0

I know it’s always a priority issue, but I just want to point out that the way “Display conditions >> Hide for User Role” it is designed now, is quite useless.

There is no anonymous/visitor for choice, means you can not hide any content from not login user, then what’s the point to hide for any single user role such as Admin?

    Thanks

    Hey @mubiesam,

We accept your suggestions & will take them up for discussions with the Team.

Also, Have you tried the “User State” setting in which you can Hide Block from Logged In/Out users?

Hope it helps, let me know how it goes.
