    Hello,

I am using the free version of WordPress PopUp and noticed that when I set my Display Conditions and add custom CSS in the editor and then hit “save” they are cleared in the editor. When I test the popup, the changes I made appear to work, however if I happen to open the editor again to make another change to the popup, all of my custom CSS and Display Conditions are completely cleared and reset to the default settings. This means I have to manually redo the custom CSS and Display Conditions anytime I open up the editor.

I’m just curious if this is just an issue in the free version or if this will happen if I buy the pro version too?

    Thanks,
    Amber

    Hey Amber,

    Hope you’re well today ??

I did some testing on my sandbox site and I couldn’t recreate the issue so I don’t think this should be related to plugin being free/premium version.

Does this happens every time you add CSS? Can you also please post your CSS here so I can try to see if this could be somehow related to the code.

Are you using #popup in your selectors?

    Best regards,

    Hi Bojan,

Thanks for your response. Yes I am using #popup in my selectors. The problem is, when I hit the save button it automatically resets/clears the editor console. So everything I just added to the Custom CSS and the Display Conditions sections just disappears. Oh well. Thanks anyway.

    Hey again Amber,

This is pretty odd, can you please try running a conflict test to see if any of the plugins or your theme is causing this behavior.

To do that please try using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

Please let me know if you find anything ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan
