Display confirmation or redirect after user submission

  • If you submit a link with the user submission form, there is no confirmation that the link was submitted. It appears to just reload the same page.

    Are you able to add a “success” or “submitted” confirmation message on the top of the page? Or have it redirect to another link or even the main links page?

    Hi, there should normally be a confirmation message displayed after you submit a link. Here is what it should look like:

    That message has a CSS class of llmessage. Perhaps you can search for it in the page output after submitting a link? Do you have the Akismet option checked under Library settings? If so, the link might be getting silently rejected since you are typing spammy content. Uncheck the Akismet option temporarily and see if the confirmation message appears.
