Currently using Ultimate Social Media PLUS, Version 2.9.4. I can’t seem to update the count numbers, specifically on LinkedIn. Used to be able to update it manually, but this time around, whilst I can update the count number, but I can’t seem save the updates.

The “Save” button on dropdown menu (4) is unclickable.

The “Save All Settings” after dropdown menu (8) is clickable, but nothing happens after clicking it. The updated count still isn’t showing the count before the changes.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks for reaching out.

If saving doesn’t work anymore, then it points to a conflict of some sorts, probably caused by another plugin (or maybe theme). Did you make any changes in this respect recently, esp. installed any new plugins? If so, could you please disable them (at least temporarily) to see if that resolves the issue?

I haven’t installed any new plugins, nor changed any themes (in a very long time already). This website is more or less “matured” already, hence no major changes of any sort. I’ve only done the updates as and when they’re available.

As per your recommendation, I shall disable the existing plugins one by one, and see if there’s any changes. Will revert back to you if I find any anomaly.

    Ok thank you.

Nope, doesn’t seem to make any difference. I still can’t make any updates on the counts.

If it helps, I can’t seem to save any changes on dropdown menu (5) at all. I can’t even turn off the count completely either.

Is there anything specific that I should look out for?

Okay, I’ve moved over from Ultimate Social Media PLUS to Ultimate Social Media ICONS. I’ve ported all the necessary details from PLUS over to ICONS. Everything seems to be working fine, everything except for LinkedIn, which doesn’t show the count number at all (manual insertion).

And another thing – the dropdown menus (5), (6), (7), and (8) on ICONS look a little weird. These menu can’t seem to be able to collapse at all. They seem to be always open. But otherwise, they work fine. Dropdown menus (1) through (4) seems to be working fine though.

I’ve temporarily everything moved over from PLUS to ICONS for the time being. I shall remove PLUS from the widget, but I’ll keep it around, at least until there’s a new update that fixes this “problem”.

    Ok thank you.

For new/other issues, please open a new support thread. Thank you!

Please ignore the second paragraph above. The dropdown menus seem to be displaying correctly now.

The only problem right now (ICONS) is that the count for LinkedIn still isn’t showing (manually defined number).

I shall be logging off shortly. Any other suggestions from you shall be worked on when I login again tomorrow morning. Good night and thank you.

It’s been almost 24 hours since highlighting the “problem”, and the count for LinkedIn (ICONS) still isn’t showing. I was kinda hoping that the “problem” would simply go away after a couple of hours (as it always seems to be in the past)… Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to wanna go away this time around…

Ok let us try to replicate this issue.

    (@socialdude)

Ok we found the issue, we’ll release a new version which will have it fixed.

Looking forward to the update. Will update you once I’ve updated to the new version. Thanks again.

Just updated to Social Media and Share Icons (version 2.0.8). But the same symptoms still exist. All the buttons are showing their respective count numbers except for LinkedIn. There shouldn’t be anything of conflict, since LinkedIn is a manually keyed in field.

    (@socialdude)

Yes, it wasn’t fixed in the version we released yesterday. It will be fixed in the next one.

Gotcha. Will wait for the next one then. Thanks again.
