Display CPT Siblings & Children on Every CPT Post

  • I’ve looked around for a plugin to do this but couldn’t find one. Toolset Views does let me do this but each post has to be done manually for every page which is not a reasonable use of time.

    I’m assuming the best way to do this would be to edit my theme.

    Can anyone advise a code to display as so (for every post):

    Parent
    >> Sibling 1
    >> Sibling 2
    >> Active Post
    >>> Child 1
    >> Sibling 3

  • The theme should not be involved in a CPT. Put any code in a plugin, for when you change themes.
    Do you mean breadcrumbs? (there are plugins for that)
    Would a widget similar to the core Pages one work? (simply clone it as a plugin and change the post type)
